Plural Nouns
Plural nouns mark more than one. Most nouns add -s, some add -es or -ies, a few common nouns change form completely (man → men), and a small group never changes (sheep → sheep).
-s, -es, -ies
When to use itMost nouns add -s to mean more than one: two books, three cars.Nouns ending in -ch, -sh, -s, -x, -z take -es: watch → watches, box → boxes.A consonant + y turns into -ies: city → cities, baby → babies. The number decides the form: one apple stays singular, two apples and many friends go plural.Build an example
